Privacy Policy

Effective 7 November 2026 · Česká verze (the Czech version prevails)

Wlny is an app for calmly recording child-related expenses between parents who live apart. This policy explains what data the app processes, why, where it is stored and what your rights are.

Controller

Data we process

No ads, no analytics, no tracking across apps or websites. We do not sell data or share it for marketing.

On your phone

Receipt reading (amount, date, shop) runs on the iPhone. Dictation uses Apple's speech recognition; audio is processed by Apple under its policies, and Wlny stores only the resulting text you confirm.

Where data is stored and who helps us

AI assistant (optional)

In Settings → AI assistant you can connect an AI assistant of your choice (e.g. Claude). With your consent, the assistant holding your personal link can read your family's expenses, alimony and settlements and record your payments. The assistant provider's terms apply to its processing. You can turn it off at any time, which disables the link. We store only a hash of the key.

Legal basis

Performance of the service you use (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); notifications and the AI assistant are based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw by turning them off.

Children

Children's data is entered by parents. A child can get an account only by a parent's invitation; a child's account does not see payments, alimony or payment details.

Retention and deletion

For as long as you use the app. You can delete your account in Settings → Delete account. We delete your profile, contact details, address, payment details, notification devices and AI key. Payments you recorded remain for the other family members as their shared record, with the author shown as "Former member".

Security

Encrypted transport (HTTPS); row-level access rules in the database so everyone sees only their own family's data; receipt photos in private storage.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability (export the full history as CSV in the Overview) and objection – write to the e-mail above. You may also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
